TERMS AND REFUND POLICY

Simple terms for a simple tool.

In short: the free version is free for good. Pro is a one-time purchase: a license key for up to 3 browsers, sold through Lemon Squeezy, with no subscription. You get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of purchase.

1. Who we are

ChatStow is a browser extension developed and operated by Musab Cibik, trading as cibikmedia, Siersdorfer Str. 74, 52477 Alsdorf, Germany (legal notice). Contact: info@cibikmedia.de. By installing ChatStow or buying a Pro license, you agree to these terms.

2. The free version

ChatStow can be used free of charge with no time limit. The free version includes saving, searching, tags, single-chat export and backups, with limits on the number of folders and on the size of data-export imports. We may improve or change features over time.

3. ChatStow Pro

What you buy: a personal license key that unlocks the Pro features in the extension. A key can be active in up to 3 browsers at the same time. You can move it between browsers in the library under “Manage license”.
One-time payment: Pro is paid once and does not renew. The price is shown on the Pro page and in the checkout.
Your license stays valid for as long as ChatStow is offered, including future Pro features.
The license is for your own use. Reselling or publicly sharing license keys is not allowed, and keys that are shared publicly may be deactivated.

4. Payment

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, VAT and invoices, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase itself. We never see or store your payment details.

5. No subscription

ChatStow Pro is not a subscription. There are no recurring charges and nothing to cancel. If we ever offer optional paid services with ongoing costs in the future, they will be sold separately and never added to an existing purchase automatically.

6. Refund policy

If ChatStow Pro is not right for you, email info@cibikmedia.de within 14 days of purchase with the email address you used to buy. We refund the full amount, no questions asked. The refund is issued by Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method, and the license key is deactivated. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right of withdrawal under the law of your country, remain unaffected.

7. Your data

ChatStow stores your chats only locally in your browser. We have no copy of them and cannot restore them. Uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data deletes them, so please use the built-in backup regularly. Details are in the privacy policy.

8. Third-party services

ChatStow works with ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, which are operated by other companies. When they change their websites, saving may stop working for a while until we release an update. ChatStow is an independent product and is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.

9. Liability

We build ChatStow with care but cannot guarantee that it will always work without errors. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the last 12 months. This does not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. The current version is always on this page. German law applies; if you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence also apply.
